From small events like selling cakes and fun days , to mega events like marathons, walks and shows , all in the name of non-profit fund raising to help our community and its development but once the Funds come in what if you are given a chance to double it and then allocate it to different sectors for charity . That is what FLIP (Future Leader In Philanthropy) in Gibraltar does it creates Leader for Tomorrow who would not only be inclined towards social service and Community development but they would be trained into handling and managing charitable institutions and their funds .
An initiative which brought together two giants, one from the Community development sector, Bonita trust and another who is a leader in financial business, Credit Suisse – together they have formulated a 3 year educational programme in which students will be trained and guided about the intricacies dealt with by the charities with regard to investment and management decisions.
The students are allowed to formulate innovative nonprofit fund raising ideas and they are guided into running a virtual financial portfolio allocated to them .This programme is a comprehensive community awareness initiative with the well being of Gibraltar in mind. Further, this programme would also help the students personally as it would increase their chances in future education and career opportunities.

FLIP project includes participation of local students to provide nonprofit fundraising ideas for charity to create community awareness in Gibraltar amongst the teenagers.
The money collected by the Students of FLIP would be doubled by the Bonita Trust and the funds would support various cause such as Child developments, Support groups of Different Diseases, Women’s support groups and various other charities in Gibraltar.
